Second Chances Without Change
Aries may appear tough, but they often have a generous heart when someone offers an apology. They want to believe that people can recognize their mistakes and choose a better path. Yet forgiveness does not require reopening the same door, especially when the other person has shown no meaningful growth. An apology without changed behavior only prepares Aries for another version of the same disappointment.
The wrong people may rely on Aries’ hope because they know another chance is always possible. They apologize when consequences arrive, behave differently for a short time, and eventually return to their old patterns. Aries must stop treating potential as proof and start judging people by what they repeatedly demonstrate. A second chance should reward genuine progress, not give someone permission to cause the same pain again.
