Take notice when someone casually shares details you told them in private. They may call it harmless conversation, insist that they only told one person, or suggest that you are being overly sensitive. In more troubling situations, they may bring up your vulnerabilities during arguments or turn them into jokes in front of others. Even if they later apologize, the damage can make you question whether it is safe to be open again.
