3. The Self-Centered Taker
Cancer is naturally generous with their time, energy, and affection. They often give without expecting anything in return simply because caring for others feels natural to them.
Unfortunately, selfish people quickly recognize this generosity.
The self-centered taker is always asking for favors, emotional support, financial help, or endless understanding, but rarely offers the same in return. Whenever Cancer needs someone, this person suddenly becomes unavailable or changes the subject back to themselves.
At first, Cancer may not notice the imbalance because giving feels rewarding. However, relationships should involve mutual effort. If one person constantly receives while the other constantly gives, resentment eventually grows.
This dynamic often leaves Cancer emotionally empty. They spend so much energy helping others that they forget to take care of themselves. Cancer should pay attention to reciprocity. If the relationship is consistently one-sided, they may be dealing with someone who values what they receive more than the relationship itself.
