2. The Master Manipulator
Manipulative people rarely reveal their true intentions right away. They often appear charming, thoughtful, and incredibly supportive during the beginning of a relationship. They pay close attention to Leo’s strengths, weaknesses, dreams, and fears. Unfortunately, they gather this information because they plan to use it later.
Once trust has been established, manipulation usually begins in small ways. They may use guilt whenever Leo says no, twist conversations to avoid responsibility, or make Leo feel selfish for setting perfectly reasonable boundaries. Instead of communicating honestly, they rely on emotional pressure to get what they want.
Leos are deeply loyal people. Once they care about someone, they often fight to keep the relationship alive, even when it becomes unhealthy. Manipulators understand this and take advantage of Leo’s desire to fix problems rather than walk away.
Another common tactic involves alternating between praise and criticism. One day the manipulator makes Leo feel special, and the next day they create doubt through subtle insults or unfair accusations. This emotional inconsistency keeps people confused and searching for approval.
Healthy relationships should bring stability, trust, and mutual respect. If someone consistently leaves Leo questioning their own judgment while benefiting from their kindness, that relationship deserves serious reconsideration.
